Monday 11th May & Monday 25th May.
Mindful Monday community drop-in sessions take place on the second & fourth Mondays of every month between 10.00am and 2pm at Castle Chambers Barnstaple Cafe (26 Castle Street), Barnstaple. Entry £5, for 18+ years.
Monday 11th May
From 10 – 1, we’re joined by Coasts In Mind who will be hosting a relaxed workshop exploring how our coastline has changed over time, from Saunton to Westward Ho! with a particular focus on the Barnstaple riverside. They will also be available in the small room near the café entrance to chat with anyone interested in the follow-on workshop in June and to answer questions about resources participants might bring.
Alongside this, Clare Colby and the Hands on Books Project will be offering a creative, hands-on bookmaking session from 10–12. Designed to be absorbing and restorative, Hands on Books invites you to explore paper, folding, and simple techniques to create your own handmade books. It’s a calm, supported space to try something new, share ideas, and begin creative projects you can continue at home or in future sessions.
