Drop in at the Castle Centre
25th April 2024. The sun came out for our informal drop-in yesterday at the Castle Centre – the proposed venue for The Woodyard community hub. Thank you to the dozen or so local charities and organisations who came along to have a tour of the centre and to give their initial thoughts on how they would, ideally, use the space to best support their beneficiary groups.
“Your feedback is pure gold dust and will form an integral part of future grant and planning bids”, says Naomi Jefferies, Chair of The Woodyard. “Our open, ongoing conversation with the community is key to making our vision of The Woodyard a reality – a wholly ‘safe and inclusive space’ which embraces those from a range of age-groups, diverse complexities and needs. There will, we know, be many more conversations as we move forward together!”
